Our alternative world

The Nottingham Playhouse in Nottingham, England. I like the idea of alternative realities, maybe as parallel universes or additional dimensions. This shot shows what I imagine would be the look of a place where one would move from one universe to the next or where one would "see" our world with other dimensions. From "this side" of the "portal" the world looks stretched and a little bit blurred...

The other thing I like about this pic if that it was taken just outside one of the performing arts arenas in Nottingham... if you like one of the places where alternative realities are "played out" almost every night.
